iOS
Instead of reading words, LingoType has you build each one keystroke by keystroke. Words, icons, fonts and your progress all ship inside the app, so it works with no internet connection and needs no account.
First check the silent switch on the side of your device. If it is still silent, open Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → Korean and check that a Korean voice is installed. On a device with no Korean voice the speaker button cannot produce sound.
The app uses the iOS Korean keyboard as-is. Add it under Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard and choose Korean (2-set). If your keyboard is on another language, the app shows a hint banner on screen.
Progress is stored on your device, not on a server. Deleting the app deletes the progress with it, and it cannot be recovered. Transferring progress to a new device is not yet supported.
No. The leaderboard in this version is a sample board bundled with the app, and the screen labels it as such. A real global leaderboard is in preparation.
In this version, feedback written inside the app is not sent to a server. For anything that needs a reply, please email the address above.
