These terms govern your use of LingoType (the "app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please delete the app.
The app is a learning tool for practising Korean words by typing them syllable by syllable. There is no account, and your learning history is stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. The following are not permitted:
The nickname you set and any feedback you write are stored on your device and are not transmitted anywhere. You remain responsible for what you enter.
The words, pronunciation hints and romanization in the app are provided as a study aid. They may not be suitable as a reference for language examinations or official documents, and the developer does not warrant that the content is complete or accurate.
The app's design, code, branding and learning content belong to the developer. Open-source and openly licensed assets used by the app are credited in section 7.
Full licence texts for the open-source components bundled with the app are available in-app under Settings → Legal.
The app is provided "as is". The developer does not warrant that it will operate without error or that it is fit for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Liability for damages caused by the developer's wilful misconduct or gross negligence remains as provided by law.
The developer may add or change features, or stop distributing the app. If distribution stops, an app already installed and the learning history on your device are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the courts of the Republic of Korea have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the app.
If these terms change, this page is updated and the effective date at the top is revised. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
