Privacy Policy
Effective 24 August 2026 · Applies to LingoType 1.0.0
LingoType collects no personal data.
There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics. The app works entirely without an internet connection, and your learning history is stored only on your own device. Nothing is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
LingoType does not collect, transmit or access any of the following:
The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no social login SDK. We do not sell or share information with any other company or service, because we hold none.
To make the learning features work, the following is written to your device's local storage and nowhere else. It never leaves your device.
All of it is removed from your device when you delete the app. If you have iOS backups enabled it may be included in your own iCloud backup, which is a backup you own and which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
The Share feedback screen has a button for attaching a screenshot. The iOS photo picker opens only when you tap that button yourself. The app does not read your photo library; it copies only the single image you choose into its own private storage.
In this version, neither the attached image nor the feedback text is sent to any server. There is no upload path in the app at all, so there is no route by which a photo could leave your device. If sending is added in a future version, this policy will be updated first and the app will say so before anything is sent.
This version of LingoType does not communicate with any server. Words, icons, fonts and your progress all ship inside the app, so every feature works in airplane mode.
Hearing a word out loud uses the speech synthesis built into your operating system. The text to be spoken is passed from the app to iOS; it is not passed to the developer. If you have selected a downloadable high-quality voice in your system settings, how that voice is processed is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
LingoType is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data, so it collects nothing from children either. There is no account creation, no chat, no outbound links, no in-app purchase and no advertising.
We hold no user data, so there is nothing to request deletion of. To erase the learning history kept on your device, delete the app from iOS.
If a future feature changes how data is handled, this page is updated first and the effective date at the top is revised. Material changes are also noted in the App Store release notes.
